JetBlue Park (Fort Myers, FL)
JetBlue Park at Fenway South in Fort Myers Florida is part of the spring training and development facility of the Boston Red Sox. In 2008 the Boston Red Sox started looking for a new location for their spring training facility. At that time they were playing at the City of Palms Park which unfortunately lacked certain amenities that other spring training parks had. Lee County Commission voted in October 2008 to agree to build a new ballpark for the Red Sox, and the Red Sox signed a thirty year lease with the city of Fort Myers.
The new stadium was built just north of the Southwest Florida International Airport; JetBlue Airways purchased the naming rights to the new stadium. JetBlue Park opened in March 2012 and has the exact dimensions as Fenway Park in Boston, MA including a replica of the Green Monster in left field! Order Boston Red Sox spring training tickets. JetBlue Park is the home of the Boston Red Sox spring training facility. Find tickets for Red Sox spring training games at JetBlue Park (Fenway South) at Fenway Ticket King.
