Rizzo, Reddick homer in Red Sox tie

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.—Anthony Rizzo and Josh Reddick homered to help build an early lead that slipped away from Boston before Kevin Frandsen's ninth-inning RBI single gave the Red Sox a 9-9 tie against the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday.Rizzo hit a two-run homer off Rafael Soriano that put the Red Sox up 6-0 in the third inning. Tug Hulett also drove in two runs with a double off Soriano, who the Rays acquired this winter to be their closer.Rizzo's solo homer off Lance Cormier made it 7-4 in the fifth.Frandsen delivered his tying single off Paul Phillips with two outs in the ninth.
