Trot Nixon will be the featured guest at the Portland Sea Dogs 2013 Hot Stove Dinner and silent auction.The event is Jan. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sable Oaks Marriott in South Portland and benefits the Maine Children's Cancer Program. Additional guests will be announced later.
Tickets, which are on sale now, are $50 and are limited to 300. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Hadlock Field ticket office, by telephone at (207) 879-9500 or online at www.seadogs.com.Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the silent auction running until 7 p.m. A buffet dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m. All who attend will receive an autographed 8x10 photo of Nixon.
